Are you tired of “lending” (knowingly or not) your phone to your child and then later finding hundreds of absurd photos they took? Or that half-finished email to a potential client is now magically in your Outbox!? Well, those days are gone because I’ve found a kids toy smart phone kids actually love, so they’ll leave yours alone. The kids toy phone from KOKODI is easy to use and durable enough to withstand a careless three-year-old, with enough games and apps to entertain a picky 12-year-old. My kids’ favorites are the voice recorder, camera, flashlight, screensaver themes, and pinball game. But let me tell you what else we love about it.

Easy to Use
It’s official. I’m getting old. My kids’ tech abilities have surpassed my own. After we had a blast playing flashlight hide and seek the other night, my three-year-old was able to find and turn off the flashlight feature much faster than I could.
She is easily able to work the camera and video. I showed her twice how to do the voice recorder before she became a pro, now she’s addicted!
The touch screen, volume and power buttons are all similar to my smartphone, so it was nothing new to them. They even get to pick the theme for the wallpaper background.
Durable and Safe
The shockproof silicone case, which is either a cute dinosaur or unicorn theme, is so durable I want it for my phone, haha.
The phone has been safety tested in accordance with regulatory standards, so no worries in terms of kids’ usage.
The storage feature is pretty cool. So not only can the kids take pictures, videos and recordings but it will store them too. You know how kids love looking at pictures of themselves. That’s not just my kids, right?
In terms of sound safety, if noise can be too stimulating for your little one, you can turn off the audio in each individual game’s settings. You can also adjust the phone’s volume on the side for the MP3 player and general phone features (not the games).
Fun and Engaging
This phone has more apps and games than I know what to do with!
Our 6-year-old loves the games that challenge coordination and timing, like basketball, pinball, and target hitting.
I’ve dropped the ball on teaching my kids nursery rhymes, but now I can thank KODOKI for picking up my slack. My daughter loves singing and dancing to the songs – reminds me of me
What feature on your phone is your child’s favorite? Yes – it’s the camera! Now they can take selfies and whatever else randomly sparks their interest. Then they can spice up their photos by adding donut eyes and other silly stickers.
We’ve only had the phone a week and they’ve already played more with the camera than they have in a year with the kids camera I bought them.
The recording feature is my 3-year-old’s favorite part. She loves recording herself and playing it back. Lucky us. You can’t get sick of hearing “I love you mama and dada” on repeat, can you?! Hmm…I won’t answer that.
Educational
I wasn’t even expecting the educational apps, but they’re great for all ages. It’s no surprise that I love the travel-themed one. Guess the names of famous landmarks around the world, then guess the country before they reveal it. I’m ready for more of these educational challenges with my son! Let’s go head-to-head while on our next long flight!
Other apps like ABC learning, storytelling, and drawing all help with your little one’s development.
Great for Travel
Not ready to make the tablet leap? Well, this kids toy smart phone is perfect! It is light, compact, and will keep your child entertained for hours. No Wi-fi needed!
What’s kept my kids as toddlers most occupied on long flights was looking at pictures on my phone. Now they can admire their own work without you having to part with your own phone.
A Kids Toy Smart Phone Kids Actually Love
I am surprised how much I like this kids’ toy smart phone kids actually love! I think it’s more convenient than their tablets, especially for our trips.
Most of their toys are exciting for a day or two, and then old news. But this one has so many features, they can use it over and over again.
Now I just need to get a second one, so they’ll stop fighting over it! I think the second will be the unicorn, what do you think?
