Best Lightweight Umbrella Stroller
This is the stroller we’ve had for six years! It’s by far the best value lightweight umbrella stroller – the Summer 3D Lite Convenience Stroller.
My favorite feature? It reclines far, so our little ones have slept great as we’ve gallivanted around Europe.
It’s lightweight, quick-folding, reclines deep for great naps, is tall enough for us (5’9″ and 6’4″) and has enough storage underneath.
It has held up for many miles on gravel, grass, cobblestone, you name it. The separate handles come in handy to quickly hang a backpack and purse on each side.
This stroller has been through the ringer and has never failed us!!

Best Car Seat-Compatible on a Budget
Speaking of Summer Infant, all of the CS line has appealing features, like car seat compatibility and a single push-handle. They are a great price and pretty lightweight. This means you can use your Graco, Chicco or Baby Trend carseat with this stroller. Double check the make and model first.
If you choose a stroller with one handle, it can be easier to push through the airport (so the other hand is free for your little one or luggage). But you should get stroller clips to quickly hang backpacks if you have a lot to carry.

Century has come out with a car seat and stroller that are flying off the shelves at Amazon, because of the rave reviews and the great prices. This is one of the best travel strollers that will provide you the versatility you need as your little explorer grows. It comes with a car seat (and bassinet if you choose) and then converts to pram style, etc. Sweet deal and it looks so chic for the price!
This is my top pick – the Century travel system. If only it had been available six years ago when we purchased our other stroller!

Best Travel Strollers to Carry on a Plane
Did you know that some airports don’t provide you with your gate-checked stroller at your layover?
Most of them do, but I have heard that in Dubai and Paris they do not. Just hearsay though.
If you have multiple flights in one trip, or don’t want to risk waiting on your stroller in case it doesn’t arrive at your destination (this happened on our first flight to Rome with a six-month-old, and it didn’t arrive for 3 more days!), then a carry on might be worth it.
Double check size requirements with your airline beforehand as some brands claim they fit in overhead bins, but they may not meet the airline restrictions, otherwise you may be gate-checking it instead.

If you want one of the lightest, most compact travel strollers out there, and don’t want to break the bank, get one of the gb Pockit travel strollers. Check with your airline first, but they claim they are “airplane carry-on compliant”.
Some people absolutely love them, and I can see why. They are super lightweight, they fold up so tiny and can stand when folded, the all-city and all-terrain can recline. Warning: the seat can be shallow depending on your child’s height. I wouldn’t even try to get my tall guy on that seat.
Best Travel Strollers for All-Terrain (Europe!!!)
Obsessed with Europe as much as I am? Then an all-terrain stroller would be best. I personally haven’t used this, so I can’t tell you if it’s worth the price tag, but it sure looks it, and so do the reviews:
Best Tandem Stroller
If you have two little ones, the Joovy Caboose line has some of the best travel tandem strollers out there. But not just your typical bulky extra long and heavy tandem stroller.
If your oldest typically runs or walks on their own, but you still want them to have the option to rest (or be safely “contained”), then this kind of stroller is perfect. Best “Budget?…What Budget?” Stroller
This won’t be the lightest stroller for travel (at under 17 pounds), but it will definitely be the nicest. With Amazon Prime’s free returns, you won’t feel pressured if you aren’t as crazy about it when it arrives.
I personally would be too nervous to check this. I’ve seen firsthand how they can get damaged.
But it does fit in airplane overhead compartments and has accessories like bassinet, car seat, snack tray, and even a ride-on board!
