2 – Take your time, tapping a word or image only once. Our kids were so excited that they were moving the talking pen way too fast. Remind them to slow down and finish the word or sentence before moving on.
3 – Have them set their own timer (to reach the 20-minute goal). It just adds to the fun and gives them a sense of ownership. Yesterday our 4-year-old repeatedly reset her timer for more minutes every time it went off. She didn’t want to stop “reading”.
