I’m a sucker for sales. I never want to pay full price.

And Amazon Prime Day is one of the biggest sales of the year.

So I put in the research, as I always do, and found…

…The best deals, on the best gear, for your best trip. Ever.

I’ll also point out some of our family travel favorites (no affiliates other than Amazon Associates, so completely truth!). My faves – our stroller and diaper bag. Scroll down for more info.

Most of these deals are 40-50% off! Act now. Lightning deals end quickly and Prime Day deals end on 7/13.

(As an Amazon Associate, I may earn a small commission if you use a link below, at no cost to you, whatsoever. This helps to keep my adventure travel blog up and running!)

Luggage

If traveling with kids, make sure all of your suitcases have spinner wheels, like this one, for easy maneuvering. I know it doesn’t sound like a big deal, oh but it is when your hands are full. Like we say in our house, “I’m not an octopus!”

This chevron pattern, hard-shell, expandable carry-on is super cute, and not to mention about as fashionable as I’d get traveling with young toddlers. The jewelry, hair and nails are a thing of the past for now!

It’s 35% off for $75. Not bad…

If you want your own laptop bag or backpack without the baby-friendly options, this one from Kenneth Cole matches the suitcase above. Looks like the quality you’re going to need for all the trips you have planned this year!

Half off for $35!

My husband, Jeff, likes this duffel backpack to keep hands free. I actually usually carry it while he carries our big car seat backpack. This bag is sturdy and dapper, not to mention 37% off, for $83.

Or a smaller backpack to hold the necessities, including a laptop. It’s on sale for $23.

Electronics

If you want to make sure you see your luggage again, attach an Air Tag to it. They rarely go on sale, so take advantage of the $14 off now!

Every traveler needs a tablet, especially with these unpredictable flights lately.

The Fire has options for an 8” or 10” screen, 32 or 64 GB, case or no case.
Most are half off or close to it. The 8” without a case is only $45!!!

And if you want an easy way to keep your toddler and child entertained for hours, then the Kids Fire Tablet is a must. With so many games, puzzles, learning apps, shows, and more, it’s a no-brainer.

They are all half off. And they guarantee that if it breaks, they’ll replace it.

It’s just a matter of figuring out the best size.

I think the 8″ is the way to go. Best of all worlds. It’s $69 right now.

We have a 7″ which has been just fine, especially for the littlest ones.

Right now, it’s $49, but to this travel mum, priceless.

You only get 16GB with the 7″, as opposed to the 32GB with the others. I recommend getting an SD card for extra storage capacity. I use this one, which is also 40% off right now:

My husband has the 10″, which he can’t live without.

I think it’s a pain in the hoohoo because it’s so bulky to carry while traveling (with the kid-proof case and all). But I’ll admit that the kids are completely immersed when watching that bigger screen.

It’s 40% for $120 right now.

You might as well invest in some noise-canceling ear buds, especially if you have little ones (joking! Well, sort of). You and your partner can trade off on child-duty. These are 33% off right now.

Car Seat

If you want a car seat that is comfy enough for everyday use, but also slim and light enough to travel, then go with the Graco 3-in-1. It’s narrow to fit on the plane. But it is close to 20 pounds, so you should attach it to a carry-on with a luggage strap or just use a luggage cart that you can throw in a carry-on or under your seat.

It’s on sale for $139 right now.

Travel Strollers

This all-terrain stroller is one of the most highly rated for everyday use as well as travel, especially if you plan on trekking around Europe cobblestone for three weeks!

It has all the features, bells and whistles while still being light enough to travel with. It’s on sale for 38% off, so $279 now.

Don’t forget to get the glider board if you have an older child that still can’t keep up as you gallivant around Paris and Rome all day. It’s on sale for $90.

But if you don’t want to spend that much for a travel stroller (and neither would I!), then opt for our favorite – our old Betsy, the Summer Infant 3D Lite Convenience Stroller.

We have put this through the ringer! Piled suitcases, carseats, backpacks, toddlers and babies on it, and it’s held up over 4+ years of miles and miles of travel and walking. The reclining feature is my favorite part – that’s the key to a sleeping kiddo on the go!

It’s on sale 20% off right now, so $79. You can’t beat that!

Toddler/Baby Gear

Alright, here’s for my favorite travel item (well, aside from our stroller). Our diaper backpack!

It’s the sturdiest bag you’ll ever use. And trust me, we need that! I’ve used other big name brands that fell apart so quickly. And this has stood the test of time and destruction. Even if it didn’t survive all the banging and tugging, they have a lifetime warranty!

Grab it while it’s on sale because it carries a heavy price tag (as it should, it’s worth it).

After the extra coupon, it’s $60 right now, which is half off. That includes stroller straps, a changing pad, and a million pockets to stay organized, including an insulated one for bottles. Watch my reel on Instagram if you want a demo of its awesome features.

To breeze through airports, use a travel belt to attach car seats to your suitcase or carry-on. It comes in handy especially when you have a heavier car seat.

Instead, stow a seat or two along with diapers and whatever else you can stuff in this big bag. Throw it on your back, stand tall and proud (or better yet, have your partner carry it!). Drop it at the terminal check-in.

We don’t use snack boxes because my kids (and I) would eat everything in five minutes. I like to keep snacks hidden as ammo to keep them happy and occupied. But these are really useful to keep some cold healthy options on the go. On sale for $23… lightning deal!

Packing Cubes

Have you seen these vacuum storage bags?! What a great idea to save on packing space. That is, if you have an iron at your destination… right?

These are on sale for $22, or cheaper for a smaller quantity.

Travel Mum Accessories

If you plan to walk everywhere like we do, invest in some comfy walking shoes that you can wear with any outfit. These are a lightning deal and are going fast, so you may have to waitlist for them. On sale for $38.

Cross-body purses like this one make it easy to carry your phone and cards close to you at all times, while still able to manage the rest of your luggage and kiddos. It’s 20% off for $23.

Hurry and buy your favorites now! The big day(s) is almost over.
